Cycling's pretty tough so, when we can afford it, we get ourselves over to Puerto Pollenca in north west Majorca for a week or so. This tends to be based around Easter and October. Different riders come for different periods depending on work, money and family logistics.
Most of out target events (British, European and World Transplant Games) tend to happen late in the season, typically the end of August, so this tends to be our transition to the pre-competition phase of our training - hard work, long miles and lot of efforts. It's tough, but the surroundings are simply stunning - it's a cycling paradise.
.... remember, it's a training camp, not a holiday... :)
