Have you ever ridden as 1 of 100 cyclists, on an international tour, with full support including all meals, all accommodation, mechanics, broom wagon and police outriders as you ride through towns. All for 100 euros (plus the cost of getting to and from Innsbruck, the start/finish, and  2 nights additional accommodation in Innsbruck not included in the tour cost -  we incur this due to travelling from GB).

If not then here is your chance!

The Euregio tour is a 3 day transplant cycling event (not a race) organised by Michael Prenner, an Italian Transplant Cycling legend! The tour runs from Innsbruck in Austria to Arco near Lake Garda in Italy. Coach transport back to Innsbruck for rider, bike and luggage is included in the 100 euro entry fee. The event is limited to 100 riders (who come from many European countries) and promotes the organ donor register. Transplanted riders and non transplanted friends/partners/spouses are welcome to ride.

The 2016 tour is provisionally scheduled to run from 24 June to 26 June. These dates are still to be confirmed but if the tour goes ahead on these dates we will travel out on Thursday 23 June and will return on Monday 27 June. It is likely that we will repeat the 2015 itinerary, flying to/from Munich (well served by easyjet) and then coach to/from Innsbruck.

14 of us did it last year and everyone had a great time - it really is a superb event.

The route will include one or two decent climbs and the total distance is approx 300k. Its not a race and no one gets left behind. There is a motorbike leading the way at the front and a bike escort, broom wagon, medical van and other support vehicles staying behind the group all day.  Your luggage is transported each day to that evenings hotel.

Registration usually  opens in November/ December and, to ensure a place,  it is essential to register quickly (on-line) and pay the 100 euros (the cost this year and we are assuming the same cost in 2016).
