On Saturday 12 May 2018 Fleet Cycling will be holding a Cycling UK Challenge Ride to raise monies for Transplant Sport and a prostate cancer charity.

Transplant Sport promotes active recovery for transplant recipients and increasing awareness of the benefits of organ donation.  Its aims are to:

  • Raise awareness of the need for organ donation
  • Encourage transplant recipients to lead active lifestyles
  • Show appreciation for and remember  donors and their families.

There will be four different routes to choose from namely 30, 60. 100 and 160kms. These will start and finish at the Everyone Active Hart Leisure Centre  in Fleet where there is ample parking for everybody. The roads around northeast Hampshire pass through some glorious countryside and there will be a number of marshals out on the routes with drinks and gels to keep the riders 'topped up'.

To register your interest in taking part please contact Graham Ellicott (gellicott@yahoo.com or tweet him at @Oldermanonabike or call him on 01252 872256)

Fleet Cycling looks forward to welcoming one and all to Northeast Hampshire so that that our designated charities may continue to deliver their good works!
